Working in a production company is a challenge! Especially, if you are responsible for occupational health and safety as well as environmental protection. My task is ensuring that my colleagues have all the equipment necessary to carry out their work safely, even when working with dangerous equipment. We can only achieve this because we have a mutual understanding, professional approach and cooperation. With a team like this, the challenge of generating energy from waste doesn’t seem so hard anymore. We are working to reduce waste being sent to landfills and ensure good air quality in the neighbourhood

It could seem that a business where there are so many rules and regulations might be boring. But it is exactly the opposite! There is so much space for creativity, starting with the first idea and ending with the high-quality service for customers. I want to emphasise that the team you have and its ability to focus on a project are vital here. The nature of the work mandates looking for new opportunities and solutions and being able to share your success stories, but more importantly, your failures, so we can apply the lessons learned in the future.

I am supervising several very different areas simultaneously, so there’s not a day which would be the same as the last one. During the energy transition period, people's needs are changing every day, and we must respond to them in a quick and accurate manner. While working at Ignitis Group you often need to get out of your comfort zone, so I am glad that colleagues here are working sustainably and support each other. While working towards a common goal together, we constantly prove that anything is possible.
