ACCOUNTANT (F/M/D) | IGNITIS RENEWABLES

We are seeking an Accountant to join our finance team in Warsaw, Poland. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with International accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

  • Participate in the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Participate in preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS and Polish accounting standards
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and tax filings
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions
  • Ensure compliance with Polish tax regulations and reporting requirements
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including banks and tax authorities

Required for this position:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, 
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Knowledge of IFRS and Polish accounting standards
  • Familiarity with Polish tax regulations and reporting requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Fluency in Polish and English (both written and spoken)
