Support and humanitarian aid
In accordance with our strategic goals, we provide targeted financial support to educational institutions and communities in the Baltic states and Poland. By providing humanitarian aid, we contribute to the reconstruction of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure that has been destroyed by military actions.
Support for communities
We strive to foster sustainable cooperation with the communities located near our operations. We financially support social, education, art, culture, science and sport projects and activities organised by the communities.
Financial support for communities may be allocated by: UAB Vilniaus kogeneracinė jėgainė, UAB Kauno kogeneracinė jėgainė, UAB “Ignitis renewables” and its subsidiaries.
Support for education
We support educational institutions and specialised educational funds. By strengthening the quality and attractiveness of the fields of study that are important to the Group’s strategic business segments, we aim to promote career opportunities in the energy sector.
Financial support for education may be allocated by: AB “Ignitis grupė”, UAB “Ignitis renewables” and its subsidiaries.
Humanitarian aid for Ukraine
We support Ukraine, which is suffering the war, and provide it humanitarian aid in the form of money and the equipment needed to rebuild Ukraine's damaged energy infrastructure.
Humanitarian aid may be provided by: AB “Ignitis grupė”, AB “Ignitis gamyba”, UAB “Ignitis” and AB “Energijos skirstymo operatorius”.

Ignitis Group has established uniform principles in the Group Financial Support and Humanitarian Aid Policy to regulate when and how its companies may provide financial support for education and communities as well as provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
