Ignitis Group has received the highest Equal Opportunities Wings recognition in Lithuania for the second time. This recognition is awarded to organisations that consistently integrate and implement equal opportunities principles in their activities. Ignitis Group first received this recognition in 2021. Being recognised once again confirms the Group’s consistent commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful workplace that ensures equal opportunities for all.

Equal Opportunities Wings is an initiative of the Office of the Equal Opportunities Ombudsperson that assesses organisations’ progress in the field of equal opportunities. The assessment considers whether an organisation has an equal opportunities policy, clearly defined responsible persons, strategic priorities, objective recruitment and evaluation processes, complaint-handling procedures, pay transparency principles, a public position as an equal opportunities employer, and the involvement of employees and managers in related initiatives.

At Ignitis Group, this direction is embedded in the Equal Opportunity and Diversity Policy, the Code of Ethics and Conduct, the Abuse and Harassment Prevention Policy, and the Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing Strategic Plans. For 2026–2029, activities focus on three areas: fairness, inclusion and employee resilience. In the area of fairness, the aim is to ensure that equal opportunities principles are applied throughout the employee lifecycle; in the area of inclusion, the focus is on strengthening a respectful, non-discriminatory and psychologically safe culture; and in the area of resilience, the focus is on employee wellbeing, psychological resilience and burnout prevention.

The Group also implements initiatives that promote equal opportunities, covering gender equality and women’s leadership, the inclusion of people with disabilities, support for LGBTQ+ employees, neurodiversity awareness, employee wellbeing and psychological safety. These include the #EnergiseEquality initiative, DUOday activities, autism awareness initiatives, neurodiversity training, an LGBTQ+ employee inclusion survey, the wellbeing mentor programme, psychological resilience training and burnout prevention measures.

The Equal Opportunities Wings recognition is seen by the Group as a shared achievement of the entire organisation and, at the same time, as a commitment to continue strengthening a culture of equal opportunities. An inclusive and respectful working environment helps bring together different experiences, strengthen collaboration and create long-term value for employees, customers, partners and society.
