JUNIOR PROJECT PLANNER (F/M/D)| IGNITIS RENEWABLES
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Ignitis Renewables Latvia team. In this role, you will be responsible for project planning across all phases of wind and/or solar projects. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Creating and maintaining overall project schedules across all project phases
- Verifying and integrating third-party schedules into the overall project timeline
- Monitoring progress, analyzing critical path activities, and identifying potential bottlenecks
- Assessing the scheduling impact of changes, analyzing and visualizing scenarios, and proposing alternative schedules when needed
- Producing forecasts for the project team, evaluating key performance metrics, and continuously reviewing contractor progress to ensure milestone achievement
- Providing scheduling input for management reports and supporting overall report preparation
- Identifying scheduling conflicts that could delay projects and recommending remedial actions when necessary.
Required for this position:
- Higher education
- At least 1 year of experience working on projects as a planner, project manager, project engineer, or in a similar role. Experience in the construction, energy, or utilities sector is a significant advantage
- Familiarity with construction-related processes and project management methodologies
- Experience using project planning and scheduling tools. Basic knowledge of Primavera P6 would be an advantage
- Ability to work independently and make autonomous decisions when necessary
- Capability to handle fast-paced, complex projects in a multi-project and multi-country environment
- Proficiency in Latvian and English (oral and written) as this role involves regular communication with international colleagues and partners.
