
PERFORMANCE DATA ENGINEER (F/M/D) | IGNITIS RENEWABLES
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Asset Performance and Optimization Team at Ignitis Renewables, where you’ll ensure all O&M (Operations and Maintenance) and Technical Asset Management information is robust, digitized, and accessible. You will contribute to a green and secure energy ecosystem by:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines focused on cross-departmental KPIs and post-processed data
- Liaising with stakeholders from various departments to integrate information sources (e.g., SCADA analysis, Health and Safety, Environmental indicators, Financial and Commercial performance, Quality, Risks, etc.)
- Developing and maintaining BI solutions for the department, ensuring they are functional and accessible
- Managing internal databases focused on post-processed data, ensuring scalable architecture to accommodate additional assets and analytics needs
- Ensuring data reliability through tracking, reporting, and managing the availability of post-processed data
- Creating and maintaining internal standards and data handling procedures
- Leading initiatives to understand cross-departmental data needs and streamline workflows
- Identifying opportunities to enhance system efficiency, reliability, and usability across teams and technologies.
Required for this position:
- An academic degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering, BI development, MS SQL Server, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven experience in BI development, data engineering, or automation
- Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation initiatives
- Proficiency in programming and query languages (e.g., Python, SQL), data manipulation (e.g., pandas, regex), visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), ETL tools or custom Python-based ETL solutions, and process optimization tools (e.g., Power Automate, Uipath)
- Fluency in English with strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Would be an advantage:
- Familiarity with the renewable energy sector
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, and knowledge of NLP.

Salary range for this position group
