POWER TRADING EXPERT (F/M/D)
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Trading Execution team of Ignitis, where you’ll be responsible for buying and selling electricity on the spot market. If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem by:
- Adjusting day-ahead forecasts
- Executing trades on day-ahead market
- Preparing power trading reports and reporting tools
- Supporting the trading execution team with various data extraction and transformation tasks
- Calculating imbalance margins
- Participating in power trading desk upgrade projects
- Executing day-ahead trades on weekends and national holidays, once every month (~3 hours per day)
Required for this position:
- University degree (Energy, Econometrics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer science or a closely related field is an advantage)
- Experience in MS Excel (VBA) and Python (advantage)
- At least 5 years of experience in energy market or closely related field
- Initiative, responsibility and attention to detail
- A desire to learn specifics of the energy market
- Excellent communication skills in English (writing and speaking)

Salary range for this position group
is 4003 to 6004 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on experience and competence. Variable part of remuneration may be paid depending on results.Can’t find the right position?
