Wind turbine generator (wtg) engineer (f/m/d) i ignitis renewables
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Renewables Poland Office of the Ignitis Renewables team, where you’ll be leading the technical support to teams developing and delivering utility-scale wind projects across the Baltic countries and Poland. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Preparing technical requirements and specifications for the WTG tendering procedures
- Reviewing the technical documentation produced from WTG supplier and identifying any technical issues or risks
- Supporting wind farm layout design, energy yield and design optimization
- Contributing to due diligence of potential wind farm site acquisitions
- Supporting wind turbine construction, commissioning and performance testing
- Following renewable energy (wind) industry trends/innovations and applying the knowledge in the daily activity.
Required for this position:
- Degree qualified in Engineering (mechanical / electrical / mechatronics)
- 5+ years of experience in consultancy, contracting or design within the wind sector
- Demonstrated track record of providing engineering and technical advice on wind energy projects from development phase through to operations either on the owner side or as a consultant to the owner
- Deep knowledge of the technical aspects of turbine supply agreements
- Familiarity with the various EU requirements, legislation and development routes for wind projects
- Strong technical report writing skills
- Good knowledge of English language.
