Selection announced for an independent member of the Board of Ignitis Renewables for a new term

Ignitis Group announces a selection process for the position of an independent member of the Board with expertise in renewable energy at its directly controlled company, Ignitis Renewables, as the term of office of the current Board of Ignitis Renewables expires on 6 February 2027.

Ignitis Renewables is an international green energy company operating in the Baltics and Poland. The company develops and operates green generation and green flexibility capacities, including onshore and offshore wind, solar and battery storage technologies.

The Board of Ignitis Renewables consist of three members: one independent member (with expertise in renewable energy) and two shareholder representatives (with expertise in financial management and strategic management respectively). The selection processes for the shareholder representative positions will be announced shortly.

The selection process will be conducted in accordance with the Procedure for the Selection of Candidates to the Collegial Supervisory or Management Bodies of State- or Municipal-Owned Enterprises, State- or Municipal-Controlled Enterprises and Their Subsidiaries, approved by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania. The international executive search firm Pedersen & Partners will assist in the search and selection of candidates.
