Solar power plants

The solar park projects in Lithuania, other Baltic States and Poland are managed by Ignitis Renewables. We install solar capacities where they add value, i.e., ensure better utilisation of grid capacities and more stable electricity generation.

Solar parks

Our goal is to develop over 400 MW of solar capacities by 2027. At the moment, Ignitis Group is developing 261.1 MW of solar capacities.

More about solar power plants

LT

In Lithuania

We have built a 22 MW solar park on the territory of an existing wind farm in Tauragė district. It is the first onshore hybrid project the company has built. It opens up opportunities to utilise owned infrastructure and land more efficiently.

LV

In Latvia

We are investing in the largest solar portfolio in the Baltic states. This portfolio comprises three solar parks in Latvia – a 94 MW Vārme solar park and a 145 MW Stelpe solar project, which will be developed in two stages.

The total installed capacity of the planned solar parks should reach up to 239 MW. This is enough to power around 100,000 homes for a year. The estimated COD of the projects is 2025.

EE

In Poland

The capacity of the solar portfolio in Poland is around 30 MW. The projects are currently under construction and their COD is expected at the end of 2024.
