
EMPLOYEE SAFETY, HEALTH, AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST (F/M/D)
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the HSE division of Ignitis, where you’ll be responsible for ensuring fire safety and OSH compliance, conducting risk assessments, training employees, managing health checklists, investigating incidents, and upholding professional ethics. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Implementing OSH functions according to Lithuanian laws and ISO 45001
- Ensuring fire safety compliance for Group companies
- Instructing and training employees on OSH and first aid
- Conducting occupational risk assessments
- Preparing internal OSH and fire safety regulations
- Investigating and analyzing accidents and incidents, developing preventive measures
- Reporting OSH compliance to employers and employees
- Promoting a positive company image and upholding professional ethics
Required for this position:
- University or college degree or equivalent. Occupational Safety and Health Officer and Fire Safety certificates
- At least 3 years of professional experience in occupational safety and health, fire safety. Experience in an ISO 45001 certified company
- Knowledge of Lithuanian OSH and fire safety legislation
- Proficiency with information systems required for the role
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
- Proficiency in both Lithuanian and English
- Knowledge of legislation for administrative, service, electricity supply, information, and communication activities. Understanding of internal control, risk management, and procedural management principles
- Strategic and analytical thinking, quick assimilation of new information, thoroughness, attention to detail, good communication skills, initiative, results-oriented, ability to manage stakeholder expectations, and impeccable reputation
