Ignitis Polska is looking for a CEO

Ignitis Polska, a subsidiary of Ignitis, which is owned by a renewable energy leader and the largest listed company in the Baltics – Ignitis Group, is looking for a CEO.

According to CEO of Ignitis Artūras Bortkevičius, the Polish company has ambitious plans to grow its energy sales portfolio, develop new business avenues while focusing on renewable energy development in the region.

“We hope to find a person with current extensive knowledge of the Polish market who strongly believes in the future of renewable energy and could steer Ignitis Polska with confidence. We are united by the mission to create an energy smart world, we are following the Green Deal agenda and transform for a more sustainable future,” said A. Bortkevičius.

Candidate should have work experience in wholesale and retail energy trading management, be able to form and implement company's strategy, create and maintain stakeholder relations. She/he must also have excellent English and Polish language skills. Candidates are welcome to submit applications and participate in the selection until 1 March.

Ignitis Polska has been operating in the Polish market since 2017, after it entered the wholesale electricity and gas market and joined the Nasdaq Commodities OMX market operating in Scandinavia. Since July 2020, the company has been carrying out electricity and gas supply activities, participating in the Polish retail electricity and gas market, and in 2021 it started trading in Dutch TTF gas trading platform.
