Irma Kaukienė will continue to lead Ignitis Group Service Centre

Irma Kaukienė has been appointed as General Manager of Ignitis Group Service Centre (GSC) for the second term. Considering that, during the first term of I. Kaukienė as General Manager, GSC has achieved its goals, the GSC Management Board has agreed to appoint her as General Manager for a second five-year term. The new term will officially start on 1 January 2023.

“I appreciate the Group Management Board’s trust in me to lead the service centre for a second term and I am excited to continue to focus on efficiency and providing the highest quality services to the Group by ensuring smooth operations of different functions,” said Irma Kaukienė.

I. Kaukienė’s managing experience comes from the IT sector. She also worked as a management board member in data centre management and data transfer companies, also in companies providing business support services. The General Manager of the GSC has launched her carrier by managing projects related to implementation of business management systems, data analysis, optimisation of business processes. I. Kaukienė has earned a doctorate in technology and has also completed EMBA studies in the Baltic Management Institute. Her first term as General Manager of Ignitis Group Service Centre has started on 21 November 2017. According to the law, the same person can hold the office of general manager of a state or municipal company or its subsidiary no more than two consecutive terms, and he/she can be appointed for a second term if he/she achieved the goals established in the first term.

Currently, the persons sitting the Management Board of Ignitis Group Service Centre are Živilė Skibarkienė, Head of Group Organisational Development, who also chairs the Management Board of the GSC, and an Independent Management Board Member Marius Ivanauskas.
