Two Management Board members of Elektroninių Mokėjimų Agentūra have been elected

Two Management Board members of Elektroninių Mokėjimų Agentūra (EMA) have been elected for a four-year term. Paulius Tarbūnas was elected as an independent member supervising financial institution operations, and Andrius Kavaliauskas was elected as a shareholder representative supervising strategy management and commerce.

The new members began their term of office in the Management Board on 6 December 2022.

P. Tarbūnas is a professional who has a lengthy career in a financial institution, with 25 years of experience in finance, strategic planning, risk management. He also has a lot of experience in compliance and money laundering prevention. He has been working in EMA Management Board as independent member from February 2020 to May 2021.

A. Kavaliauskas, a shareholder representative supervising strategy management and commerce, has 15 years of experience in commercial organisations, including banks, where he contributed to forming strategy, creating products and forming successful teams.

EMA is a subsidiary of an international energy company Ignitis Group that manages a system used for collecting utility fees, for example, for electricity, gas, water, heating, house cleaning, telecommunications, waste disposal and security.
