Ignitis CEO selection announced
Ignitis, a subsidiary of the renewables-focused integrated utility Ignitis Group, has announced a CEO selection as the first term of the current CEO, Artūras Bortkevičius, ends on 9 July 2026. Ignitis supplies electricity and natural gas to more than 1.4 million customers throughout Lithuania, while its subsidiaries in Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Poland help accelerate the development of green energy across the Baltic region. The candidates for the position are welcome to apply until 5 May 2026.
The requirements for the Ignitis CEO position include at least five years of experience as a top-level executive, management experience in business development, product development, sales or IT, the ability to formulate and implement business strategy, experience in developing customer-focused products or services, expanding the customer portfolio and creating high-value B2B and B2C solutions.

Ignitis CEO’s term of office is five years. The same person can be appointed as CEO of the same company only for two consecutive terms.
