Ignitis Group awarded at Corporate ESG Awards for best reporting practices

Ignitis Group, a renewables-focused integrated utility, has successfully debuted in Corporate ESG Awards 2023 organised by a media platform ESG Investing, where it was recognised as the best company for sustainability reporting.

Corporate ESG Awards, running for the third year, recognise the best listed companies for their consistent and impactful environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) efforts. A panel of independent experts evaluate the achievements of companies in climate change, diversity, equality, inclusion, social responsibility, sustainability reporting and other categories.

A record number of listed companies from all over the world participated in this year's awards. This reflects improving standards and the growing importance of sustainability in modern business.

Besides the award for sustainability reporting, Ignitis Group was also a finalist in three other categories at the Corporate ESG Awards 2023: Best company for climate transition (finalist); Best company for diversity, equity and inclusion (finalist); Best company for ESG & sustainability (finalist and runner-up).
