CLOUD DATA PLATFORM - DATA ENGINEER (F/M/D)
We are looking for a colleague, who would join the Data Engineering Team and help us develop Data solutions in a cloud based Microsoft Fabric data platform. You will contribute to the creation of a green and secure energy ecosystem by:
- Collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and delivering high-quality datasets
- Integrating data from 40+ sources (on-premises, cloud, APIs) into a unified data platform
- Understanding, creating, and applying technical documentation in solutions development
- Designing and implementing robust data pipelines using Python as Azure Function Apps and/or Microsoft Fabric tools, including Data Factory, Apache Airflow DAGs, and Lakehouses
- Developing and maintaining Data Warehouses, Notebooks, and Spark-based transformations
- Developing and maintaining data models, ETL processes, and BI reports
- Ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
- Staying current with emerging trends and best practices in cloud data engineering and the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem
Required for this position:
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering building Data Warehouses of any kind
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data cataloging tools. Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts
- Proficiency in SQL (Microsoft SQL Server or other), PySpark, Python and Power BI
- Knowledge about building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data sets
- Good communication skills (Lithuanian and English), ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Would be an advantage:
- Experience with Apache Airflow or similar (e.g. Jenkins, Dagster)
- Experience with Data streaming using Apache Kafka or Apache Pulsar or similar
- Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure or its components
- Any Cloud based Data Platform experience
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate or similar certifications

Salary range for this position group
