We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Ignitis Latvia team, you will be responsible for driving product vision, managing the product backlog, and leading a talented IT team and reliable development contractors to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Defining and communicating product vision, strategy, and roadmap to stakeholders and team members;
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements;
  • Creating and maintaining a well-organized product backlog with clear, actionable user stories, coordinating with subcontractors;
  • Leading sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings;
  • Guiding and mentoring the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation;
  • Analyzing market trends and customer feedback to inform product decisions;
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product launches;
  • Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and product metrics;
  • Continuously optimizing processes to improve team efficiency and product quality.

We expect that you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or IT leadership roles with proven track record of successful product launches;
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban;
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Trello;
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proficiency in Latvian and English (oral and written) as this role involves regular communication with international colleagues and partners;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to coach colleagues and contribute to team development.
