Senior electrical engineer (f/m/d) | ignitis renewables
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Engineering Office of the Ignitis Renewables team, where you’ll be responsible for electrical system design and grid connection, as well as providing technical assistance and consulting on improvements. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Taking responsibility for electrical system design including grid connection requirements, liaising with other project activities
- Providing technical assistance during project development and ensuring the factors influencing and influenced by the grid connection are considered
- Maintaining relationships with HV/MV contractors to drive performance and ensure they deliver their services to all applicable standards
- Reviewing single line diagrams to ensure optimal system design and compliance with Grid Connection conditions
- Consulting O&M (Operations and Maintenance) team on technological issues, possible improvements, integrations, and other upgrades.
We expect that you:
- University degree in electrical engineering
- Engineering experience in power plants and/or interconnection projects to the TSO Grid
- Good knowledge of the 110 kV and above HV transmission system including relevant legislation and standards
- Result-oriented mindset, ability to analyse and summarize complex development topics and aggregate decision-relevant information to convey messages clearly and concisely
- English language (oral and written communication).
